Accessibility Statement

Effective date: 1 January 2025.

Global Insight is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We actively work to ensure that the Services meet or exceed the applicable accessibility standards, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing editorial and technical responsibility rather than a one time compliance exercise.

1. Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, cognitive, motor, and neurological disabilities.

2. Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML markup with clear heading hierarchy in every article.
  • Descriptive alternative text on all editorial photographs and illustrations.
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background in all themes.
  • Keyboard navigation across all interactive elements, with visible focus states.
  • Consistent, predictable navigation and clear page titles.
  • Text that reflows without loss of content or functionality at a range of viewport sizes.
  • Support for user font size preferences without breaking the layout.
  • Video and audio content, when we include it, provided with transcripts or captions.

3. Known limitations

Third party embeds, such as some map viewers or video players, may not fully meet our internal accessibility standards. Where we include such embeds, we describe the essential information in the surrounding editorial text so that the article remains useful without the embed.

4. Assistive technology

We test the Services with contemporary versions of major screen readers, including NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, and with keyboard only navigation. If you use a specific assistive technology and encounter difficulty, please contact us so we can investigate.

5. Feedback and requests

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the Services. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or you would like a specific piece of content in an alternative format, please contact accessibility [at] giexecutivetransportation.com. We aim to respond to accessibility requests within five business days and to provide alternative formats within ten business days.

6. Enforcement

If you believe we have not adequately responded to your accessibility concern, you may contact the relevant regulatory body in your jurisdiction. In the United States, the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice provides information about your rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act. In the European Union, national accessibility authorities in each member state accept complaints under the applicable transposition of the European Accessibility Act.
